Perfectly Flawed by Emily Jane Trent

Perfectly Flawed

Just goes to show that appearances aren't everything.  Just because it appears that someone seems to "have it all" - you can't assume their life isn't full of pain, heartache and insecurity.  Adrianna is one of those people - the people that should be loving her, are tearing her down.  After graduation, she moves in with her Aunt to start her own life, and live it the way she wants - except the past always rears its ugly head, and she is still unable to make all her own choices.

Sean sees meets Adrianna once, there is attraction - but she acts like she's unaffected by him.  She totally blows him off - but a year later, they end up working together - and this time Sean isn't going to let her walk away so easily.  He's more determined this time - he wants to know her, help her and love her.  She just isn't sure that she's worthy of him.

Sean was the perfect person for Adrianna, ever her defender - you'll definitely be cheering for him, hoping he can make Adrianna feel his love.  He may be young too, but when he knows what he wants, and is sure of it - he goes after it and gets it.

Adrianna was truly an inspiration.  She managed to deal with so many issues at a young age, mainly by herself, and pull herself through the best way she knew how.  And, then in the end, she takes one of the hardest steps ever, and allows herself to be loved by someone who would truly care for her and love he the way she deserves.  This was truly a heartfelt love story.

Repair Me by Jennifer Foor

Repair Me (Kin, #1)Repair Me
by: Jennifer Foor

My rating: 4 out of 5 Sizzling Stars

4 blog stars

Synopsis:
Sky's whole world is turned upside down when she catches her long-time boyfriend cheating. Depressed over the breakup, she decides to drive to the beach to spend time with her friends and drown her sorrows in hot guys and fruity drinks. The only problem with her plan is her piece-of-junk car. It breaks down halfway into her trip, in the middle of nowhere—a place where cell phone towers don't even exist.

Ford's life has changed drastically in the past year, and he spends his days working at his family's run-down auto repair shop. When his father tells him to go rescue a stranded traveler, he soon finds himself with a hot opportunity to forget about what ruined his life, even if it's only for one night.

With sexy chemistry between them, Sky and Ford agree to a one-night stand, to let go of what each of them are running from and enjoy each other with no strings attached. But as their heated night progresses, they both know that one night is never going to be enough. What happens when one night turns into two? And two turns into three? Can two people, who know nothing about each other, really fall in love?

Or is lust just playing with their torn hearts?

My Review:
Sky and Ford’s life was not turning out the way they had both envisioned it.  Now, Sky is headed on a trip to the beach to join some friends to help her forget her cheating ex.  They meet up when he comes to help her when her car breaks down – and sparks fly.  Ford is the sexy, cocky bad boy and she’s wary of his type – Sky is beautiful and sassy and Ford is trying to get rid of his annoying ex – and she’s just the person to help him with that.  But the one night stand doesn’t quite turn out the way they both expected it too, and Ford ends up helping her with more than fixing her car – and Sky falls fast.

This is a hot, sexy y/a read about two people, who run into each other while trying to figure out which direction their life should go – while not letting the others in their life down.  If you love y/a stories, you definitely don’t want to miss out on this one!

Catch My FallCatch My Fall by Ella Fox

My rating: 4 of 5 Sizzling Stars

**ARC kindly received from author in exchange for an honest review by the girls and I at www.sizzlingpages.com **

This was definitely a heart wrenching story at times - Mia's and Macy's story is one that will break your heart, as will Tristan's and Trace's - but along with Darby and their families you will be inspired by the strength all of them have as they face their past and look forward to a better future. It's not all drama though, there are plenty of moments to make you smile with "Stan and Mimi" - so grab a bunch of candy, lots of licorice and enjoy this great story of first love.

BreathlessBreathless by Rose J. Bell
My rating: 3 of 5 stars

ARC provided by Rose J. Bell for honest review.

I rated this a 3.5 Star Review,

This is a story about a young girl, Ree, who has been through so much in the past 2-1/2 years. She shows her strength as she struggles through her circumstances, and as she meets Logan and breaks down all her rules and falls in love. There are a lot of tender moments between "hoodie girl" and "rude boy" that you will love. I do have to warn you there are some explicit scenes as she remembers her 3 months in captivity with "psycho" - so if you have issues with that, please be aware.

I rounded down on the 3.5 Star Review mainly because of the grammatical errors, which I could understand because the author is from Germany. I also felt like there was almost an unbelievable amount of drama happening to Ree, which didn't give time to develop more of the other charachters in the book. Even with these issues for me, I'm glad to have had the opportunity to read this book and I think this author will just improve as she writes more.
