Falling for the Groomsman (Wedding Dare #1) by Diane Alberts

Falling for the Groomsman (Wedding Dare, #1)
This is the second book in the Wedding Dare Series - and it has Kady's brother, Tyler, and her best friend, Christine, meeting up again after not having seen each other for eight years.  The wedding party is all together for some pre-wedding festivities, so Christine knows she's bound to run into Tyler.  Dreading the reunion after how he left her all those years ago, she's bound and determined to not let him effect her.  She's going to concentrate on her "to-do" list - possibly adding a little bit of "Tyler revenge" to the end of it.

Tyler knows he messed up all those years ago.  Knows he shouldn't have ran, and just left her after their night together, but they were both so young.  He's had years to think of her, and now he knows what he wants, and that's Christine - and Dr. McBossy is going to get her....hopefully.

I have to give it to Christine, she is one tough cookie.  She tries to fight the feelings and emotions that Tyler arouses in her, but he is relentless.  She figures, she'll take the sex, but nothing more.  The problem is, this time he wants more.

As these two try to reconcile the past, sometimes breaking each others hearts along the way, I wondered how they were ever going to leave the past were it belonged.

I'm really enjoying this series, and looking forward to see how the rest of the wedding party of Kady and Colton hook up and find their own true loves.

The Infamous Ellen James (Infamous #1) by N.A. Alcorn

The Infamous Ellen James (Infamous, #1)

OMG - where has this book been hiding - and why am I now just finding out about it???  I absolutely LOVED this book!  I have never laughed, chuckled, smirked and smiled while reading a book - like I have during this book.  Ellie and Amy are freaking nuts - crazy hilarious best friends.  Not only that, they are nurses - and the situations these two face together, had me shaking my head - laughing at their responses and comments. They are so much fun - it made me jealous that I wasn't part of their friendship, because they would be so awesome to hang around with.

Then there's Dr. Thrust Me - or was it Dr. Hammer - or you could call him Trent.  How can I describe him...well he's basically a "superhero" - or parts of him are - but basically he's "Perfection".  Why? - because he wants Ellie, he goes after her - and he shows how much he's into her - and the best part is that he loves her personality and her craziness.  He laughs at her, with her - and even encourages her to be even crazier.

If you need a read to lighten things up from those darker, angsty books you've been reading - you definitely need to read this book - and get ready for your cheeks to hurt from all the smiling and laughing you're about to experience - you won't be disappointed!!

I'll Take a Chance (Running Into Love #2) by Annalisa Nicole

I'll Take A Chance (Running into Love Book 2)

I really enjoyed this story about two people finding each other unexpectedly and taking the chance at being happy and starting a new relationship.  Amelia is still dealing with the hurt her ex caused by his words and actions, and Kyle has been denying himself happiness since his twin sister disappeared.  They were the perfect pairing.

I could really feel how much Kyle was interested in seeing Amelia, wanting to spend as much time as possible together, but not wanting to move to fast and scare Amelia. The excitement of a new relationship and all those "butterfly" feelings between the two was fun to experience.  But just because there were alot of sweet moments - there were just as many hot, sexy moments that had me all hot and bothered!

Amelie was such a down to earth girl, you couldn't helf loving her and Kyle was definitely a catch - and he proved his loyalty and love throughout all the ups and downs that happened even at the beginning of their relationship.  It was good to get to know their other family members too - and I think I may have to go back and read the first book in this series - because I am surely looking forward to the next book about Adrian and Shay.

Beautifully Awake by Riley Mackenzie

Beautifully Awake (Beautifully Awake, #1) Beautifully Awake (Beautifully Awake #1)
by: Riley Mackenzie

My rating: 5 out of 5 Sizzling Stars

Lili Porter hates the rain. Bad things happen in the rain. As a small town social worker dedicated to protecting children, she is forced to start over to escape her rural disaster. Determined to follow her father’s advice—head up and chin high—Lili finds herself in a new city, taking on a new system, this time healthcare. In doing so, she gets something she never expected, an intimate behind-the-scenes look at life in the hospital.

Lili learns that a surgeon’s hands have the power to heal more than physical wounds. And a prescription for truth can cure three years of sleep running and leave you beautifully awake.

Truth:   I loved this love story!! It had everything I love in it:

#1 - Possessive Alpha Male (oh yeah, who just so happens to be a hot sexy doctor, with his own skeletons in his closet!) who also happens to be very caring and generous.

#2 - A strong female, fighting to overcome past heartaches, not giving up.

#3 - Awesome best friends - you will love the conversations between Lili
and Sierra, not to mention Chase's best friend Asher and their
             brotherly relationship.

#4 - Hot sex scenes (this should probably be #1!!)

#5 - A couple who truly love each other struggling to survive the past,
forgiving themselves and learning how to live for today.

You definitely don't want to miss reading this beautiful love story.  I can't wait to read the next book that's going to let us in to Asher's life!!
