Ride Steady (Chaos #3) by Kristen Ashley

Tatum Jackson will always be my "#1 KA Alpha Male" - but let me just say that Joker 

has moved up the the #2 spot on my list and bumped Joe Callahan down to #3. 

I don't know how to even begin starting to explain the pure perfection that is Joker, 

you'll just have to   trust me on this one.

I really struggle with reviews for any KA books - because to me, there's no words to describe how much I love them all - every part of them, from the story line, to the location, the songs, the clothing, and each and every character.  So I thought of a crazy comparison - food:

 Most of the books I read are really like a good meal out - leaves you satisfied, glad for what you ate - maybe a really good burger and fries.  Then others books are more like a better meal - sit down, dress up a little, maybe get an appetizer and share a dessert.  Those meals don't come as often, but they are looked forward to and enjoyed immensely.  Then there are KA books that I have to compare to those meals where you get the WHOLE experience.  I'm talking dressed up, you're getting a drinks, salad, appetizers, sorbet in between to  cleanse your palate, you're getting all the food groups, cooked by the best chefs, and having the best dessert at the end to wrap it all up.  You're getting the full experience, pure bliss,  leaving nothing out - and to me that's what this book, and every KA book I've read has been like.  I savor it, never want it to end - but thoroughly enjoy the entire experience - and sometimes I even go back for seconds.

So do I recommend you read this book? - Hell Yeah!!! 

To the Max (Bowen #3) by Elle Aycart

    

I enjoyed this story of Max and Annie so much.  These two together we're perfection.  Max was just what Annie needed, and their personalities just complimented each other just right.  I loved watching Max fall for Annie, and her baby - and of course there were many moments that left me laughing at their interactions with each other.  I even learned a new word that I think a lot of us could use to describe these wonderful books we all read..."Cliterature".

I do also have to say that even though Nate Bowen (Max's dad) isn't in the story a lot, his parts in the book totally had me falling for the wonderful man/father that he was and is.  No wonder all the Bowen’s are keepers!  So looking forward to Jack's story, I have a feeling it's gonna be smoking hot!

Deacon (Unfinished Heroes #4) by Kristen Ashley - @KristenAshley68

What can I say?  Kristen Ashley does it again with Deacon.  Although this time Deacon is more broody, mysterious and kinky than her other Alpha males - which is a recipe for a great freaking story that I could not put down.  And as usual, Cassie, the heroine, is this awesome, strong female who you can't help but admire, root for and want to become her best friend.

I have to say, some of my very favorite "alpha man" quotes came out of Deacon's mouth.

And I don't want to take anything away from Cassie - she held her own.

If you are a Kristen Ashley fan, I can say you will not be disappointed with Deacon - and if you have never read one of her books - this is absolutely a great place to start and get hooked on K.A. and her amazing writing style including all of her incredible H/h's.

The Promise (The 'Burg #5) by Kristen Ashley

When I thought about how the story of Benny and Frankie would play out, it wasn't totally what "The Promise" delivered,  Thankfully, it was way better, and that's why K.A. "rocks" as an author, and I just sit back and do the reading.

I try to think about why I love K.A.'s writing style so much, why her stories just grab me, keep hold of me, and stay with me for a long time - then make me read them all over again. We all know she writes the absolute best "Alpha Male" characters ever - no doubt about that. People magazine should do a spread of KA's hot Alpha men - now that would be a total sellout!! But, I think it's the total sum of all that's in her stories, that pulls me in. The way she incorporates family, whether is blood family, or friends who have become like family - into the heart of the story. It may not be the main theme, but their importance is no less relevant. Then of course there is the love story, that is the heart of the book. It's not always easy, has a lot of baggage, but it's strong and survives and I swear I can feel the love and passion coming from the words I'm reading on my kindle.

Benny and Frankie's story will not disappoint you - you will love it. You will get to experience the past with them, what's happening now as they try to figure out their relationship, and definitely "The Promise" of the what the future will hold for them. Your gut will twist, tears will fall, and your heart will smile. I have to say though, that my favorite part was getting another dose of Joe and Violet. Their rehearsal dinner, and the speech that was given will stay with me for a long time - it was that beautiful. Don't even give it a second thought as to whether you should read this book, it's a definite MUST read - and for me, a re-read! You'll never go wrong with a Kristen Ashley book!

Falling for the Groomsman (Wedding Dare #1) by Diane Alberts

This is the second book in the Wedding Dare Series - and it has Kady's brother, Tyler, and her best friend, Christine, meeting up again after not having seen each other for eight years.  The wedding party is all together for some pre-wedding festivities, so Christine knows she's bound to run into Tyler.  Dreading the reunion after how he left her all those years ago, she's bound and determined to not let him effect her.  She's going to concentrate on her "to-do" list - possibly adding a little bit of "Tyler revenge" to the end of it.

 

Tyler knows he messed up all those years ago.  Knows he shouldn't have ran, and just left her after their night together, but they were both so young.  He's had years to think of her, and now he knows what he wants, and that's Christine - and Dr. McBossy is going to get her....hopefully.

 

 

I have to give it to Christine, she is one tough cookie.  She tries to fight the feelings and emotions that Tyler arouses in her, but he is relentless.  She figures, she'll take the sex, but nothing more.  The problem is, this time he wants more.

 

 

As these two try to reconcile the past, sometimes breaking each others hearts along the way, I wondered how they were ever going to leave the past were it belonged.

 

I'm really enjoying this series, and looking forward to see how the rest of the wedding party of Kady and Colton hook up and find their own true loves.

 

 

 

 

The Will (Magdalene #1) by Kristen Ashley

I can't do reviews for Kristen Ashley books.  Why??? Well, it's simple as this - they are KRISTEN ASHLEY BOOKS!!! - You can NEVER go wrong with reading one of them.  If you have read one her books before - you know exactly what I'm talking about.  If you've never read one of her books - STOP EVERYTHING you are doing - and sit down and start with this book.  This book was amazing - and left me wishing it would never end, as most of her books usually do leave me feeling.  So many people to love in this book - and a new town and state to look for Alpha men!  One of my all time favorites for sure.
