Karter by Scott Hildreth - @ScottDHildreth

Karter
I have to admit, I was a little nervous going into this book.  But let me say, there was absolutely NO reason for my nervousness - this book had me devouring it in no time at all.

I adored Karter.  She was awesome.  I loved her spunk.  She told things exactly like they were, she was nothing but always honest - and put everything out there.  There was so much more to her, than what you saw.  She left me wishing I could be more like her.

Jak wasn't so bad himself either.  A sexy, retired Navy Seal, trying to get his life in order.  He meets Karter along the side of the road and helps her with her broken down motorcycle.  That's it - after these two meet, nothing is the same for them.  They've both altered each other's life path, and luckily they know it.  It's amazing how life sometimes happen, and the coincidences of meeting certain people - and how our lives are really are all tangled together.

I really did love how Jak and Karter were with each other.  Their playfulness together had me grinning, and I had to laugh out loud when Karter accused Jak of "short stroking" her.  Even with their age difference, and some other issues - their relationship was true, and you will definitely get the HEA as promised from the synopsis.  Don't be nervous about this book like I was, dive right in and enjoy!
